My IS Day

As most of you may already know, "IS" stands for Information System. An Information System is simply a group of components that interact together to produce information.

Procedure: Every day I activate my alarm at night to get up in the morning.

Procedure: I turn on the TV with remote control and scrolled through the list of channels to the weather channel to check the weather of the day.

Procedure: I turn on the laptop. Then I went on Sheridan’s slate web page and I put it in user name and password and browsed when I finished I logged out the web page.

Procedure: Once I am in the car driving I have a ON STAR GPS installed so each and every time I am stuck in the traffic I just browse through the nearby routes to spend time...

Business Leaders I Admire

Mukesh Ambani, the chairman and managing director of India's largest private sector enterprise -- Reliance Industries Limited -- was born on April 19, 1957. His father, the legendary Dhirubhai Ambani, was then a small businessman who later on rose to become one of the legends of Indian industry. Mukesh joined Reliance Industries in 1981 and was the brain behind Reliance's backward integration from textiles into polyester fibres and into petrochemicals. During the process of backward integration, Mukesh Ambani led the creation of 51 new, world-class manufacturing facilities involving diverse technologies that raised Reliance's manufacturing capacities manifold. The world's largest grassroots petroleum refinery at Jamnagar is his brainchild. He was also the in-charge of Dhirubhai's dream project Reliance Infocomm. But after the split in the Reliance Empire, Reliance Infocomm went to his brother Anil. Mukesh Ambani is now planning to enter retail sector in a big way and will launch a chain of 'Reliance Fresh' retail stores. He also entered into an agreement with the Haryana government to establish a Special Economic Zone with an investment running into billions of rupees. He has a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Bombay and a master's in Business Administration from Stanford University, USA.

My Community Involvement

I love to get involved in community services. I was involved in many community welfare activites back in India. I was a cadet in National Cadet Corps(NCC) which works for the society and performs basic social duties like cleaning up the environment and awaring the people about the social evils like female foeticide and gender bias. We were also given the weapon training in order to help the Indian Army if needed. Nowadays, I am volunteerly associated with United Soccer Club, Brampton and I am giving free Soccer Coaching to the young siblings.

My Educational Achievements

I passed out my 10th grade in 2007 from CBSE in India and got 67%. Then, in 2009, I did my 12th grade also from the same board and scored 62.8%. After that, I came to Canada to study Business Accounting and got 3.30 GPA in 1st semester. I am working hard to get my goals in the field of accounting.

My Career Goals

Everyone has his/her own desires or goals in life they they wish to achieve them. I also have got some goals in my life. I would like to graduate in Accounting and then persue a higher degree in my field in order to become a Chartered Accountant. I study the books of great businessmen and accountants so as to know more about this accounting world.
